Young people (under 25 years old) account for half of all new HIV infections worldwide.

In developing and transitional countries, 9.7 million people are in immediate need of life-saving AIDS drugs; of these, only 2.99 million (31%) are receiving the drugs.

The number of people living with HIV has risen from around 8 million in 1990 to 33 million today, and is still growing. Around 67% of people living with HIV are in sub-Saharan Africa.

* Proportion of adults aged 15-49 who were living with HIV/AIDS

During 2007 more than two and a half million adults and children became infected with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), the virus that causes AIDS. By the end of the year, an estimated 33 million people worldwide were living with HIV/AIDS. The year also saw two million deaths from AIDS, despite recent improvements in access to antiretroviral treatment.

Notes

Adults are defined as men and women aged 15 or above, unless specified otherwise.

Children orphaned by AIDS are defined as people aged under 18 who are alive and have lost one or both parents to AIDS.

All the statistics on this page should be interpreted with caution because they are estimates.

Remember these 'estimates' are for a period of 26 years. Only 'AIDS' lumps together 26 years of statistics to create the impression of a major health problem.

Also these figures include 'presumptive' cases that have not even been tested and it should also be noted that so called 'AIDS tests' only test for non specific antibody levels. Every single test available states in small print that it IS NOT A TEST FOR HIV.

In the Third World, figures are based on the absurd WHO/CDC Bengui definition with under 1% of those labeled 'AIDS' cases even being tested. The Bengui definition lumps togeter the symptoms of almost every old epidemic disease as those of 'AIDS'.

In short, 'AIDS' statistics are meaningless smoke and mirror used to maintain funding and fear of sex.

'AIDS' in America is not even in the TOP 15 killer diseases. Check for yourself.

Ignore them!

People should be afraid of having sex. Don't think for one minute that it couldn't happen to you.

What absolute nonsense. Look at the thousands and thousands of rock stars who had sex, more sex and more sex. How many got so called 'AIDS'?

A survey by the insurance industry, some time ago, of America's 100,000 swingers (LifeStyles Assoc.) showed NOT ONE SINGLE 'AIDS' case ever. Prostitutes, in America, are not even included in the CDC's 'high risk' catagory.

'AIDS' is simply the American Invention to Discourage Sex (AIDS).

Puritan B.S. and a total lie.
